Instructional Technology

The Instructional Technology office helps foster a culture of innovative teaching and learning by providing leadership in the implementation of instructional technology across campus. This includes supporting the effective use of existing systems, as well as investigating and assessing new educational technologies to further advance instructional capabilities.

In addition to the Blackboard learning management system, the Instructional Technology office assists faculty in successfully leveraging other available software (e.g. Google and Microsoft Office 365 application suites) to create meaningful, engaging learning experiences for students. Through workshop delivery, curation of training documents, and individual/group consultation, the Instructional Technology office strives to ensure faculty, staff and students feel confident and empowered in using the tools at their disposal.
